Winter note: There is no central heat, but there is a wonderfully warm gas wall heater and space heaters. The den is especially cozy, but the sunroom may be chilly in the bitterest weather but lovely. Bring a sweater and enjoy it all year.

You won't believe this darling "Nest" with its 2nd story balcony up in the treetops and its loft bedroom with Queen size bed and its own little jacuzzi bathtub tucked up under the eaves. Real privacy and escape from the rat-race are yours at this English style cottage. Recently added to an unused wing of the Willowbrook Garden Cottage manor house, this cute retreat has its own private garden, and is separate from the Garden Cottage, so you don't share space with anyone else.

Bring your own gourmet beans and use our electric coffee mill. Kitchen is furnished with dishes and linens.

The Nest has a "storybook" queen-size bed; the morning light glows through lace curtains from England. You'll love the little romantic bedroom tucked up under the eaves with its authentic "net curtains" from England. It has a little bathroom with Jacuzzi tub with shower over, and its own private second story deck with its treetop level.

Cozy den-library with wireless Internet, dvd/vcr, and lots of books!
Downstairs you can totally relax in recliners in the little "library" where you can enjoy free wireless internet, if you want to keep in touch with the real world while you are in your imaginary storybook cottage. The view is of the prayer garden and stream.

Just 5 minutes to Mena, 10 minutes from Queen Wilhelmina Lodge and park, 35 minutes from the Cossatot State Park, 45 minutes from Lake Ouachita, 1 hr.20 min from Hot Springs or Fort Smith, 1 hour from Diamond State Park

Close to Mena for shopping, but out in the beautiful Shady Mountains.

Easy drive to Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails.: (Directions: from cabin, go right on 44 to 375, turn right and go for eight miles; trail head will be near County Road 277).
