Unlike many other cabin grounds, ours has its own private setting, with view of creek and wooded hillside in front and behind, and not lined up side by side with our other cabins. However, it is not secluded or in the wilderness, being just 2 1/2 miles from Mena. But most people find the location works for popping in and out of town and yet still having their quiet, private lot and access to National Forest.

It is a really pretty drive to Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails–the adventurous guest can drive right from your cabin on scenic back gravel road about 8 miles, or you can trailer your ATV and go on paved busier road. Before you set out on the back road (402, shown above) call the Forest Service to make sure the roads are open: Map to the trails and Forest Service phone number

Ride the back county roads from the cabin, no matter the weather! Here are a couple of our youngest AVT enthusiasts who stayed at Sunnybrook in March! It might have been chilly and rainy, but the sunshine on the faces made up for it.
